Learn How to Develop Marketing Alliances with Key Vendors through OIA Outdoor University’s Online Workshop on November 10, 2010

BOULDER, CO (November 4, 2010) – John Mead, president of Adventure 16, is a business problem solver who combined his business objectives with a host of key vendors to make a stronger marketing stand branded together than they ever could have acting independently. Join John on Wednesday, November 10, from 2:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. (MDT) to find out how he did it, how he got the vendors to come on board, and how they all work together to build a collective business model in the next Outdoor Industry Association® (OIA) Outdoor University® online workshop: How to Form a Key Vendor Marketing Alliance.

The Key Vendor Alliance program John and the A16 team created in 1997 set a new industry standard for the way retailers and their most meaningful vendors work together to build their brands in the eyes and minds customers. During the Outdoor University workshop, John will share systems and practices A16 has used to develop a synergistic marketing program with 11 of its key vendors. Attendees will learn how to create sustainable methodologies to effectively and efficiently leverage retail marketing messages alongside important vendor brands.

How to Form a Key Vendor Marketing Alliance is offered free to OIA members, EORA members and SNEWS® subscribers and for $99 for non-members. Pre-registration by Tuesday, November 9 is required. To find out more about John Mead and to sign up for the November 10 webinar, check out the full line-up of Outdoor University® sessions and presenters at www.outdoorindustry.org/ou2010.
