Leatherman Tool Group Welcomes New VP of Global Sales
Tim McCool brings decades of sporting and outdoor industry leadership experience to the Leatherman team
Portland, OR—January 4, 2016— Leatherman Tool Group Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of high quality multi-tools and inventor of the multi-tool category, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim McCool as its Vice President of Global Sales. An Oregon native, McCool starts immediately and will be responsible for leading the Leatherman and LED LENSER sales teams, maximizing growth in existing categories and launching new products and categories.
“Tim has so much experience in driving significant growth with premium brands. He’s a spectacular addition to Leatherman,” said Leatherman President Ben Rivera. “Years of experience at the senior leadership level have prepared him well for this role. We are building a high-performing executive team to realize our vision, while supporting our values, and Tim is a perfect fit.”
Previously, McCool served as Vice President and General Manager of Arena North America, a competitive swimwear brand, where he helped to establish 60% average growth each year. He also has experience at Babolat North America,Adidas America, and Nike.
