BOULDER, CO – Leisure Trends Group announced today the launch of regional data reporting as part of its industry-leading RetailTRAK retail sales tracking services. In conjunction with this launch, Leisure Trends also unveiled TRAKview™, an extraordinary, new, dynamic reporting platform to deliver this information.
Tracking sales regionally is particularly important for the sports and recreational industries as sales are affected by variances in climate and economic conditions in the different parts of the country. “The addition of the regional breakouts makes sales tracking information exponentially more valuable,” said David Ingemie, President of Snowsport Industries America, one of the first users of the new system. “It allows manufacturers and retailers to analyze and forecast their business to a level never before possible. The rollout of the new system from Leisure Trends started with the Snowsports industry and will continue with the Outdoor and Running RetailTRAKs in early 2010. As part of this transition, the speed of data delivery is also being increased. Data will be received through secure channels, aggregated, cleaned, matched, projected and then released to all clients and partners within 25 days of month’s end.
