Leisure Trends Group has retained Brand Amp as agency of record responsible for its brand strategy, publicity and promotions. Brand Amp has been tasked with understanding the immense value proposition of the Leisure Trends brand and communicating it to clients, the media and consumers.

A market research firm founded in 1990, Leisure Trends has established a reputation as the leading authority on leisure in America. Core industries served include snow sports and outdoor, while Leisure Trends retail tracking data and consumer market intelligence has been used by savvy Fortune 500 companies for everything from product development to media strategies and customer relationship management.

As more and more companies realize the untapped business potential that lies within their sales and customer data, Leisure Trends is seeking to capitalize on its expert understanding of how to wed such data with its deep knowledge of America’s leisure behaviors to bring increased profitability to its clients.

“We wanted to work with an agency that uniquely understood the relevance of Leisure Trends’ research, and how to translate that value to the world at large,” said Jim Spring, founder and president of the Boulder, Colorado-based company. “Brand Amp’s expertise in our core industries and understanding of the application of our research to the broader marketplace made the agency the clear choice to meet our goals.”

Brand Amp will first work to translate the power of Leisure Trends to the media. Meanwhile, the agency will also coordinate a multi-level campaign to re-launch the brand through its web site, print collateral and trade promotions.

“There are impressive success stories from clients who have already benefited from the horsepower Leisure Trends brings to their sales and marketing efforts,” said Lee Hart, founder and president of Brand Amp. “I look forward to helping businesses better understand the full extent to which Leisure Trends can offer a single solution to achieving more meaningful and rewarding consumer connections.”
