BUFFALO, NY – October 16, 2018 – LEKI, the leader in trekking, ski and trail running poles, is proud to announce the appointment of sales rep Mike Felix of Midcoast Outdoors to cover the South-Central trekking and outdoor retail territory (TX, AR, OK, KS, LA), effective January 1, 2019. Kevin Cox, who has covered the territory for LEKI for the last 16 years, will be retiring as an independent sales representative at the end of the year.
“Kevin is a true professional and a road warrior, as well as a good friend. We will miss him greatly and wish him all the best in retirement,” said Marty Callahan, Sales Director for LEKI USA.
Cox added, “I want to thank everyone for helping make my career as a sales rep so fulfilling. It has been a real pleasure to work with such enjoyable people, in an industry we are all passionate about.”
Felix has over 20 years’ experience as a rep and retail store owner and currently represents Ruffwear, Deuter, Sole, Royal Robbins, Cotopaxi, Klean Kanteen, Good To-Go Foods and Tentree. He will be responsible for LEKI’s Fall 2019 orders and will be at the GOA and Winter OR shows next month.
