LEKI Announces New Sales Representation in Upper Midwest

BUFFALO, NY – October 9, 2019 – LEKI, the leader in trekking, ski and trail running poles, is proud to announce the appointment of sales rep Rick Thompson, of Rick Thompson and Associates, to cover the Upper Midwest trekking and outdoor retail territory, effective immediately. Specifically, Thompson will be responsible for IA, ND, SD, MN, WI, IL, NE and MO.
Thompson has over 35 years’ experience as a rep and retail store owner, and currently represents Eddyline Kayaks, Pau Hana SUP Boards, Seger of Sweden socks and hats, Gloves International and Bjorn Daehile XC Clothing. He will be responsible for LEKI’s Fall 2020 line and will be attending the Winter OR show on LEKI’s behalf in January.

Thompson replaces Paul Gerten, who has covered the territory for LEKI for the last two years. “We want to thank Paul for his service to LEKI and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” said Callahan.
