YAKIMA, Wash. – May 10, 2012 – Liberty Bottleworks today announced a new sport cap featuring one-handed operation, spill-proof design and compatibility with all Liberty bottles.
Like the recycled aluminum bottles, the new sport caps are made in the United States, just down the road from the company’s Yakima, Wash. facility.
As a special launch promotion, the sport cap is available at www.libertybottles.com for $5, shipping included, through Saturday at 11:47 a.m. Use the code “sportscapnow” at checkout and the discount will show at the end of the transaction.
“We’ve worked hard to get these caps just right and finding a way to make them domestically and make them at a price that works for everyone,” said Liberty Bottleworks Executive Vice President and co-founded Ryan Clark. “The sport cap is a lot easier for someone to use when they’re on a treadmill or in the car and just have one hand free so it’s a nice accessory for our active customer base.”
The sport cap will be sold as an accessory alongside Liberty bottles at retail locations and will be standard some certain special edition bottles. The cap will retail for $9 and come with two straws. Replacement silicone nipples and straws will also be available.
