Life Fitness names Mark J. McCleary vice president – marketing

SCHILLER PARK, Ill., July 21, 2006 – Life Fitness, the leading manufacturer of a full line of commercial cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, is pleased to announce that Mark J. McCleary has been named to the position of vice president – marketing and product management. McCleary, most recently vice president – marketing at Brunswick Bowling & Billiards, will report to John Stransky, president – Life Fitness Division. The move highlights Brunswick’s belief in promoting from within its ranks, aiming to leverage its management talent and to share skills and experiences across all of its market-leading businesses.

Our customers in the Billiards industry loved working with him, as he gave them new and exciting ways to promote their businesses and our products. His strong branding skills will help take the Life Fitness brand to new levels.”

Before joining Brunswick, McCleary was brand manager for Care Free gum at RJR Nabisco, brand manager for Windex at S. C. Johnson and vice president of marketing at Enzymatic Therapy. McCleary has a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, and an MBA from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.
