Troy Trimmer is the new national sales for Lifestraw.

Trimmer will lead the sales efforts in North America, working to establish new retail channels and expand existing long-term partnerships. In addition, he will lead and support LifeStraw sales representatives’ efforts to maintain brand leadership in the water filtration category, while supporting LifeStraw’s Give Back Through Retail initiatives that leverage revenues from product sales to provide clean water to communities in need around the world.

“Troy’s proven track record of channel development and growth paired with his expertise in analyzing market trends and opportunities makes him an ideal fit,” said Alison Hill, managing director of LifeStraw. “His unique skill set will be a strong asset in introducing the LifeStraw brand to new retailers and to engage more consumers. We’re enthusiastic about Troy joining our team.”

Most recently, Trimmer drove the channel development efforts for successful brand launches with a cycling startup and distribution companies navigating the outdoor and sporting goods channel.

“I’m passionate about working with a brand that continues to create distinct technologies that serve a global need,” said Trimmer. “Today’s companies need to do more than manufacture and sell products; there is a renewed obligation to make the world a better place. LifeStraw is an excellent example of a company that has successfully executed on this promise. I look forward to digging in.”
