Light My Fire, the Sweden-based manufacturer of unique outdoor accessories, has been recognized with a Red Dot Award for Product Design for its new Add-a-Twist backpack organizer.
Every year manufacturers and designers from around the world submit their new products in the hope of winning a prestigious Red Dot Award. The Light My Fire Add-a-Twist was selected out of more than 17,000 entries by an international jury, which cited its sophisticated design. The jury stated the Add-a-Twist “meets the high standards required of functional and easy-to-handle trekking gear.”
The Add-a-Twist features three separate containers that lock into each other and can be easily combined. Each container floats and has a double-sealed lid, making it waterproof and airtight. Bayonet locks allow for quick and easy access into each section with just a simple twist. Made from a durable combination of polymers, the Add-a-Twist is shockproof while remaining lightweight, and was specially designed to slip in and out of backpacks with ease.
“We’re thrilled the Add-a-Twist is being acknowledged for its versatile design,” says Light My Fire CEO, Calill Odqvist-Jagusch. “It was designed to work just as well on a boating or hiking trip as it does for your child’s school lunch, and we’re proud that the jury recognizes that wide appeal.”
The new Light My Fire Add-a-Twist will be available in the U.S. this fall. For more information, contact Suzanne Hermann at firstname.lastname@example.org.
