Longworth Industries Names Roger Maxey National Sales Manager

West End, North Carolina, March 18, 2008 – Longworth Industries, parent company of Polarmax and XGO brands of technical, base-layer apparel, recently named Roger Maxey as national sales manager to lead its national sales force.

For more than 20 years, Maxey served as president of Performance Marketing, Inc., a successful organization of sales representatives covering several regions including the Southeastern United States, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean. At Performance Marketing, Maxey helped open up retail markets and grow sales for well-known sports, outdoor, and ski brands including Bauer/Nike, Timex, Völkl, Bollé, Atomic and Descente. Maxey has also served as president of the Southeastern Ski Representatives Association.
