LOWA Boots LLC Announces Southeast Sales and Marketing Team

The Adventure Market Group based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee has been retained by LOWA Boots, LLC to oversee sales and marketing efforts for LOWA Boots, Tecnica Outdoor Boots, and T-Shoes in the Southeast. The announcement was made by Peter Sachs, general manager of LOWA Boots LLC, U.S. distributor for all three products.

The Adventure Market Group consists of three people; headed by founder and president, Tom Hammond. Bo Boran and Rod Thomas complete the team. They will cover sales and marketing efforts for LOWA, Tecnica, and X-Socks products in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Their goal is to develop and maintain dealer relationships in the region through a professional understanding of retail needs, promotions, merchandising and regular contact with shop employees.

LOWA Boots LLC, with headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, is a partnership with LOWA Sportschuhe Gmbh founded in 1923 and based in Jetzendorf, Germany. The U.S. company, launched in 1996, sells, markets, and distributes a complete line of four season outdoor footwear for walking, hiking, backpacking, and mountaineering as well as everyday use. In addition, LOWA offers collections of specialized footwear for field sports and professional task force use. In January, 2007, LOWA acquired U.S. distribution rights for X-Socks®. Based in Asola, Italy, X-Socks designs and manufactures X-Socks and X-Bionic base layers.. In June, 2007, LOWA acquired distribution rights to the Tecnica Outdoor Footwear Division for the U.S. market, beginning with the introduction of the spring 2008 collections. The division encompasses both Tecnica hiking boots and T-Shoes urban adventure travel footwear.
