LOWA Opens Demo Center With YMCA of the Rockies – Estes Park

Stamford, Connecticut, May 20, 2013 – LOWA’s newest partner in their expanding Demo Center Program is the YMCA of the Rockies Estes Park Center in Estes Park, Colorado. The Center is surrounded on three sides by the Rocky Mountain National Park, which was recently recognized as the #1 Outdoor & Adventure Destination in the United States. Colorado and out of state visitors will have the opportunity to check out a pair of LOWA’s at no charge by visiting the Demo Center where several models will be available for a day of testing. This is LOWA’s 4h strategically located Demo Center including the Sierra Club’s Center out of the Clair Tappaan Lodge in California’s Sierra Nevada and Appalachian Mountain Clubs (AMC) at the Joe Dodge Lodge in New Hampshire and Mohican Outdoor Center in New Jersey. The Estes Park program will launch Memorial Day week-end and continue through Columbus Day.

Comfortable footwear will greatly enhance our visitor’s enjoyment of the awe-inspiring mountains and elk, deer and other wildlife that live in the Park.”

Demo Center employees are receiving training from LOWA so that they are prepared to help hikers choose from an assortment of men’s and women’s Tempest Lo’s and Renegade GTX Mid’s, men’s Camino GTX, women’s Khumbu GTX Mid and Kody Jr’s.

LOWA Boots LLC, with headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, is a partnership with LOWA Sportschuhe Gmbh founded in 1923 and based in Jetzendorf, Germany.
