DENVER, CO. (Summer, 2009) – Mountain Shades, Inc., the Denver-based manufacturer of Optic Nerve and M-Shades sunglasses, will introduce the Hydroglare collection of sunglasses at the Summer Outdoor Retailer show this month. Part of the M-Shades brand, Mountain Shades’ price-point line of sunglasses, the six-style collection will feature Hydroglare technology with polarized lenses at an affordable $39.99 MSRP.
The new Hydroglare technology is made with a vacuum process that uniformly seals a micro thin film coating on M-Shades’ polarized lenses. The Hydroglare coating repels water from the lens without leaving marks and acts as an anti-static dust repellant. With less dust and grit on the lens, the lifespan of the lens is increased and the ease of cleaning in enhanced. Additionally, the density of the Hyrdoglare coating allows oil from fingerprints and perspiration to be removed with little effort, further enhancing the lens’ durability.
This new technology, combined with M-Shades’ polarized lens technology, which blocks 99.9% of the glare that is reflected off water, snow, and other surfaces, makes these glasses an ideal choice for an array of outdoor activities.
