Mammut Sports Group USA Taps Troy Trimmer for Northwest Sales

Mammut Sports Group USA, providers of Swiss quality alpine gear and apparel, today announced that Troy Trimmer will join the company as territory sales manager for the Northwest. Trimmer’s is one of two in-house rep positions for the brand in the US, as the brand furthers its commitment to its dealers and the US market. Trimmer, an outdoor industry veteran, will be representing the Mammut and Raichle brands while servicing specialty dealers throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

Trimmer brings fifteen years of outdoor market expertise to the position, including sales experience with A16, Montrail, The North Face, and Columbia Sportswear, and practical experience in the vertical world as a professional climbing guide and endurance athlete. As a dedicated Mammut Sports Group sales rep, Trimmer will focus on supporting dealers in all aspects of their business related to the Mammut and Raichle brands, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, and bolstering brand awareness throughout the region.

Jeff Cunningham, National Sales Manager for the Mammut Sports Group brands in the US, sees potential for growth in a territory already well established for Mammut. According to Cunningham, it is Trimmer’s comprehensive background at every level of specialty sales, including retail, technical training, rep and sales manager positions, and strategic thinking that made Trimmer an obvious choice.
