Marker Receives SSL’s 2009 “Best Partner/OUTERWEAR” Award

Salt Lake City, Utah: Marker Ltd., a premier snowsports apparel and accessories company, was recently presented with the Sports Specialist Ltd. (SSL) 2009 “Best Partner” Award in the “Outerwear” category last week at the SIA trade show in Denver, Colorado. This is a new award from the SSL buying group and is presented to vendors in main categories, which are voted on by members of SSL.

Marker Ltd. was given the award through their willingness to work with, develop and deliver meaningful programs to the SSL buying group, which has over 100 members and covers all market sectors in North America. Daryl Santos, President of Marker Ltd. since 1990 commented, “On behalf of the entire Marker Ltd. team, we sincerely would like thank SSL and its membership for being selected to receive this award. Being honored by the SSL Specialty Ski Retail community is a very rewarding testimony to Marker Ltd’s continual mission statement in developing strong products, programs and relationships.”

The relationship between Marker Ltd. and SSL is long-standing and strong. In addition to receiving the award last week, in 2008, Marker Ltd. also received SSL’s “Supplier of Distinction” – an award for the 20+ year snowsports brand’s on-going commitment to SSL.
