Helly Hansen announced today its new partnership with Marmot Basin Ski Resort, a ski and snowboard destination inside Jasper National Park. Beginning in November 2014, Helly Hansen, the leading global apparel provider for mountain sports professionals, will outfit the majority of Marmot Basin’s ski patrollers, instructors, employees, and retail operations with outerwear, midlayers, baselayers, and accessories.
With the addition of Marmot Basin to its family of resort and guide partners, Helly Hansen now outfits more than 40,000 mountain professionals at more than 70 resorts and guiding companies worldwide. As part of the agreement, Marmot Basin will collaborate with Helly Hansen on various marketing and product initiatives.
“We’re confident Helly Hansen’s apparel and outerwear will keep our guides, safe, dry, and comfortable in any weather condition that develops here in the Canadian Rocky Mountains,” said Brian Rode, vice president of marketing and sales for Marmot Basin Ski Resort. “They share our deep-rooted passion for the mountains and the importance of being comfortable, dry and safe in any weather.”
Thanks to Helly Hansen’s partnership with premier resorts like Marmot Basin, Helly Hansen is able to offer skiers and riders with 2-for-1 day passes at Marmot Basin and select Canadian resorts with the purchase of a qualifying SKI FREE Helly Hansen ski jackets and pants.
