Massey’s Professional Outfitters & ExOfficio Clothing Marked 1 Year

New Orleans, La.- September 6, 2006- Massey’s Professional Outfitters and ExOfficio teamed up for the one year anniversary of Katrina to promote the release of “Hurricane on the Bayou” appearing in the Entergy IMAX theatre. The movie was released to the public in New Orleans on the August 29th anniversary with media and VIP parties leading up to the release.

The producers chose Ex Officio brand clothing for the extreme and difficult environments they frequently found themselves working in. Massey’s Professional Outfitters is the local provider for high performance Ex Officio clothing and worked closely with Ex Officio to promote the clothing’s durability, comfort and ability to resist wind and water.

Massey’s and ExOfficio will host two drawings to supply a local news reporter and one general audience member with complete outfit of the ExOfficio brand clothing. Massey’s and ExOfficio also outfitted staff members in the clothing to demonstrate features of the brand at the media and VIP events.

The film focuses on the deteriorating wetlands that surround southern Louisiana and act as a buffer to hurricane force winds and storm surge. The film will play exclusively in New Orleans before it begins a country wide tour. The film is to be considered for a nomination for an Academy Award.
