Matt Smoot Joins Nite Ize Team as Marketing and Events Specialist

Boulder, CO (March 26, 2014)- Nite Ize has hired Matt Smoot as Marketing and Events Specialist. Smoot’s duties include press relations, event and sponsorship coordination along with social media strategy and implementation.

“With the ever continuing success of Nite Ize, Matt will play a major role in the logistics of our events and sponsorships, along with engaging our fans with company information and news through social media channels, and fielding incoming press requests,” said Brenda Isaac, Head of Marketing at Nite Ize.

Born and raised in Boulder, CO, Smoot graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. After graduation, Matt spent the past 9 years in online sales, marketing and community outreach. Smoot is also an experienced naturalist and trail guide for the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, and is currently working on his MBA at the University of Colorado, Denver. A true man of the mountains, Smoot enjoys climbing, mountain biking, running, and is a self-proclaimed beer snob.
