MC Sports Names Pelican International 2014 Hardgoods Vendor of the Year- 2nd Year in a row!
GRAND RAPIDS, MI. March 15, 2015. Midwest retailer, MC Sports named Pelican International as its 2014 Vendor of the Year, second year in a row.
MC Sports, which operates over 78 stores in seven Midwest states, honors one hardgoods vendor and one soft goods vendor annually with the title of Vendor of the Year. This year, Pelican International, the leading manufacturer in the paddlesports industry, earned the coveted award in the hardgoods division.
The selection criteria included annual sales, margin performance, inventory turns and return on investment.
Dan Winchester, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, MC Sports, presented the award stating, “We look to partner with vendors who possess similar values to us: integrity, passion, aspiration and a drive for excellence. Pelican exemplifies these values and it shows in their performance as a vendor, both in our relationship and in our results.”
