McNett Acquires Gear Aid Product Line from Adventure Medical Kits

McNett, the industry leader in the Care and Repair category announces the purchase of the entire Gear Aid product line from Adventure Medical Kits.

These field-use kits are designed to come to the rescue when things go wrong in the field. They include everything from repair tapes and patches, to sewing supplies, industry specific fabrics, replacement buckles, Seam Grip and excellent expert field repair instructions. These kits are essential insurance against the inevitable trip ruining mishaps that happen to everyone in the field.

This is a excellent move for both companies, it’s a natural line extension for McNett, and allows Adventure Medical Kits to focus on its core focus of first aid and medical kits.

McNett is currently shipping the 2009 Gear Aid line and is working on improvements to the kits, kit contents and instructions for launch in January 2010.
