New and improved for 2011, the Ultimate Daisy Chain alleviates the risks associated with the misuse of traditional daisy chains by employing full strength rated (22kN) loops throughout the system. Unlike its predecessors (with individual pockets meant for body weight applications only (approximately 2-3kN in strength), the Ultimate Daisy Chain was designed to eliminate low strength components that could lead to a potential shock loading situation. It also eliminates a dangerous misuse of clipping into just the pocket(s) only (a very easy mistake for inexperienced climbers) for a complete daisy failure.

The Ultimate Daisy Chain can also be used as a full strength runner, anchor sling or equalized anchor sling. Its improved safety, versatility and efficiency make for a welcome companion on everything from multi-pitch routes to cleaning the anchors on sport climbs.
