In the difficult economic climate all businesses are facing Midwest Mountaineering is pleased to report a 10% increase in sales for the 2008 fiscal year. Margins improved slightly. January 2009 financials showed a 28+% sales increase over January 2008.
Rod Johnson, owner of Midwest Mountaineering attributes the steady sales improvement to the store’s knowledgeable and well-trained staff and favorable weather conditions.
