Seattle, WA – Seattle-based MiiR, pioneer of the Product to Project™ movement where every product sold funds a trackable giving project, is inviting customers to shape its product assortment with the launch of the MiiR Lab. The MiiR Lab features new products that customers can crowdfund and pre-order with up to a 30% discount. The sales of each product help determine if they eventually become part of the MiiR collection.

The MiiR Lab launched with an update to their Heritage Growler, presenting a redesigned lid that locks in place to stay open while pouring, a buckle closure, and a handle that supports smooth pouring and carrying. This Growler inherits the features of its predecessor: Thermo 3D™ Double Wall Vacuum Insulation Technology to keep contents cold for 24+ hours or hot for up to 12 hours and won’t sweat, 18/8 Medical grade stainless steel that won’t transfer flavor or create a metallic aftertaste, a threadless lid to seal carbonation and prevent leaking, and is BPA-free, it comes in stainless steel and three Hardshell™ Powder Coated colors and is available for $49 until the end of March. The price will increase to $59 on April 1 and the products will ship in April 2017. MiiR will continue to give 5% of revenue from sales to trackable giving projects, including those launched through the Lab. The purchase of this product funds trackable clean water and health projects by registering the give code, printed on the base of every vessel, through www.miir.com.
“The MiiR Lab flips the design process by allowing customers help make decisions about the evolution of our product line,” said Bryan Papé, founder and CEO of MiiR. “So our fans are helping create the products while funding charitable giving projects.”
MiiR plans to launch a new product in the Lab nearly every month. Papé added, “Get the latest Lab product launches by signing up at MiiR.com/lab. Your purchase makes you part of MiiR’s product team and our giving project team. That’s a win-win!”
