Montana Spartan Race donates funds to FIRST DESCENTS

Denver, CO— April 25, 2013 –FIRST DESCENTS, a Denver-based non-profit organization providing free outdoor adventures to young adults fighting and surviving cancer has partnered with the Montana Reebok Spartan Race to raise funds for participants to attend FIRST DESCENTS programs. The Reebok Spartan Race rallies thousands of competitors from all over the world and was voted Best Obstacle Race by Outside Magazine in 2012. The Montana race will gather competitors at Averill’s Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork, Montana to compete in a four mile battlefield of obstacles and mud. Montana Spartan Race has agreed to give a 15% discount and donate 50% of all registration fees to FIRST DESCENTS when racers sign up using registration code MTFD.
Brad Ludden, CEO and Founder of FIRST DESCENTS, and a team of FD alumni will be driving FDmobile to the event where they will compete in the race and be available to talk to about the program and how it has impacted their lives. To join their team and fundraising effort go here.
