Morakniv Introduces the Companion Black Blade and Companion Tactical

Seattle, WA -Morakniv® is proud to introduce two additions to the popular Companion series. The Companion Black with a blade of Swedish cold-rolled special stainless steel is finished with a black powder coat, and the Companion Tactical features the new finished black blade with a MOLLE-compatible sheath system.

To commemorate the launch of the Companion Black Blade, the initial production run will be marked “First Production Run” on the blades and packaging. A total of 2500 specially marked pieces will be produced with 800 units being offered exclusively to select Morakniv dealers in the United States and Canada. The Companion Black’s blade length is 4.1″ (104 mm), blade thickness is 0.1″ (2.5 mm) with a total length of 8.8″ (224 mm). Companion Black Blade MSRP is $34.99 and the Companion Tactical (sheath shown on right) MSRP is $49.99; both styles will be available in select retail stores in July.
