Morakniv® Releases a New Generation of Professional Knives to USA

Seattle, WA – In time for Spring 2015, Morakniv will offer enthusiastic craftsmen and outdoorsmen more options in professional knives. With ten knives between the Basic and PRO series, each one features an impact-resistant handle with a new, larger geometry for an improved fit in the hand. The blades of the knives have a perfect balance between length and width which provides a better experience for the user. All Morakniv knives are made in Sweden in the town of Mora where they have been making quality knives for over 400 years.

Morakniv’s new BASIC knives have an impact-resistant handle and a finger guard that has been developed to optimize safety. The carefully chosen knife steel is hardened in Mora, Sweden according to a secret recipe. Featured above is the MORAKNIV® BASIC 546 which contains a blade made of carefully selected stainless steel that stays sharp for a long time. In addition to the developed features for the BASIC knives, Morakniv gave the PRO series knives an ergonomic handle made of TPE rubber, which provides optimum grip friction. The coil-formed rounding of the handle is comfortable to hold. The knife has a slightly larger blade, which can withstand higher loads and is made of knife steel which is also hardened in Mora. Ideal when working in an outdoor environment, the PRO S knife (above) is made of carefully selected stainless steel, which stays sharp for a long time.
