Mountain Hardwear Announces Wasatch Wobble Sponsorship and Pack Sale Fundraiser at ORSM14
The 19th Annual Wasatch Wobble 5K Fun Run’s theme is Cops and Robbers
Richmond, Calif. (Aug. 5, 2014) – Mountain Hardwear, creator of performance apparel and equipment that empowers outdoor athletes to live boldly, is pleased to announce two exciting events this week at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2014: The 19th Annual Montrail/Mountain Hardwear Wasatch Wobble 5k Fun Run and a Happy Hour and Pack Sale at the Mountain Hardwear booth.
On Wednesday, August 6th at 5pm, Mountain Hardwear welcomes OR attendees to a Happy Hour and Pack Sale at booth #26001. Peiro 25L packs will be available at the special show price of $20, with all proceeds being donated to Leave No Trace, a non-profit teaching people of all ages how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly.
Regularly priced at $79, the Piero 25L maximizes volume and minimizes its profile, to carry everything needed for a full day. Perfect for a day wandering the Salt Palace or perhaps the trail, the Piero features hard-wearing construction, cool, wicking mesh in contact areas on shoulder straps and back panel, a fully padded laptop sleeve and dual grab handles.
On Friday, OR attendees can shake out their weary legs as Montrail and Mountain Hardwear host the 19th Annual Wasatch Wobble 5k Fun Run. The entry fee is $10 for the trail run to benefit the Access Fund Conservation Team. The Access Fund Conservation Team helps maintain climbing areas throughout the United States by assessing climbing area conservation needs, working with locals to address those needs, and providing training on planning and stewardship best practices to keep those areas healthy.
Complete with convict and police themed t-shirts and a donut shop, the theme of this year’s race is Cops and Robbers. Prizes will be awarded to the overall winner as well as the runner with the best costume. Race registration is available at the Mountain Hardwear booth (#26001) and is limited to 200 runners.

6am – buses arrive at southeast corner of Salt Palace
6:15am – buses depart Salt Palace
6:30am – buses arrive at starting line
6:45am – RACE STARTS
7:45am – buses return to southeast corner of Salt Palace
