Mountain Hardwear Bolsters Product Team with New Talent

Richmond, Calif. (October 13, 2015) – Mountain Hardwear, creator of performance apparel and equipment that empowers outdoor athletes to live boldly, is pleased to announce the addition of two industry veterans to its product team, strengthening its bold spirit and innovative consumer product offering. Steve Adams and Eric Betz joined Mountain Hardwear this summer as Outerwear and Equipment Product Line Managers, respectively.
Adams joins the team with a breadth of experience in the outdoor and action sports industries. Most recently he was Senior Product Line Manager for winter sports at Quiksilver.
“I’m thrilled to join a brand that has such a rich history in pioneering the limits of design and technology in the outerwear market. Plus, I get to collaborate with some of the most talented individuals in the industry,” said Adams. “I’m ready to keep pushing the Mountain Hardwear program, taking it to the next level and turning the market upside down.”
Betz comes to Mountain Hardwear with an extensive merchandising background. Most recently, he served as Merchandise Manager for Ski, Snowboard and Outdoor Hardgoods at Any Mountain and Vail Resorts. Prior to that, he was Outerwear Product Developer at Marmot.
