Mountain Hardwear Is Giving Away Hundreds of Free Camp Sites

 “The Spot” Lets Campers Trade Crowded Campgrounds for Secluded Beauty

Richmond, Calif. (June 8, 2015) – Finding a prime campsite isn’t easy. This summer, Mountain Hardwear is making it a little easier. The brand is giving away hundreds of free camp site nights across the USA.

“We know how much greater the great outdoors is when you can get away from crowds and cars. So we’re making it our mission this summer to help our customers go deeper, get wilder and experience more on their camping trips,” said Chris Harges, director of global marketing.

The brand found a like-minded partner in Hipcamp, a new online camping reservations platform designed to take the hassle out of finding a campsite.

“Hipcamp is the perfect partner in two regards: they’re dedicated to helping users find unique and secluded campsites, and they’ve reinvented how you search and book sites online,” said Harges.

Running June 8th through September 7th The Spot will offer campsite openings on a first-come, first-served basis in California, New York and in Wyoming. Mountain Hardwear will release available campsites throughout the summer to offer multiple opportunities to win. Advance notice will be given via social media or to those who register for email notification.
