Mountain Hardwear to Debut StretchDown™ at Outdoor Retailer
MHW’s Fall 2016 outerwear collection features insulation that is designed to move
Richmond, Calif. (Jan. 4, 2016) – Mountain Hardwear, creator of performance apparel and equipment that empowers outdoor athletes to live boldly, is pleased to announce a leap forward in flexible insulation with the debut of the StretchDown™ Jacket (MSRP $250) and the StretchDown™ RS Jacket (MSRP $280) for Fall/Winter 2016.
The first down jacket designed to move the way we move, the StretchDown Jacket uses a stretch knit material and welded seams that expand, unlike traditional stitched baffles. This unique combination makes for a more durable, form-fitting, comfortable jacket. Utilizing Mountain Hardwear’s high preforming and waterproof 750-fill Q.Shield® Down, the StretchDown Jacket is ready for winter weather and any mountain activity.
The StretchDown RS is where flexibility meets protection from the elements. With a weather-resistant 15D Ghost Lite face fabric, welded channel construction and a stretch knit lining, the StretchDown RS offers both optimal warmth and mobility.
