Mountain Khakis® Hosts "The Infamous Stringdusters" Concert at OR!

(Jackson Hole, WY – January 12, 2011) Mountain Khakis®, a leading outdoor-inspired apparel brand, will host the Grammy-nominated band The Infamous Stringdusters live in concert in MK booth# 25035 on Friday, Day 2 of Outdoor Retailer.

Hop, skip or wobble your way to the Mountain Khakis® booth# 25035 on Friday, January 21 to experience for yourself what makes The Infamous Stringdusters Grammy material. Happy Hour will kickoff at 4 and the band will start pickin’, pluckin’ and playin’ at 4:30.

OR attendees will be graced by the playful and eclectic bluegrass-jam music from the all-string band – AND a very special, ‘limited Mountain Khakis-edition’ CD of the ‘Dusters Live will be available to the first 800 folks at the booth.

The ‘Dusters, as known by fans, have developed a faithful and fanatical fan-base since the band’s inception in 2007. As part of their annual Ski Tour, the band will travel to Salt Lake City to join Mountain Khakis at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market show. Sponsored by MK, the band will also play two nights at SLC’s The State Room on Friday, 1/22 & Saturday, 1/23 nights with Asheville, North Carolina’s Toubab Krewe.

The Infamous Stringdusters received their first Grammy nomination for the instrumental “Magic #9” in the ‘Best Country Instrumental Performance’ category. On Things That Fly, their third album on Sugar Hill, the band fused together an expansive set of mostly original material focusing on inventive arrangements and extended improvisation. 

The 53rd Grammy Awards will be held Feb. 13, 2011 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
