Mountain Khakis, a lifestyle apparel brand based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is excited to launch a revised women’s fit at the Summer Outdoor Retailer Show in August. The new fit, designed with feedback from customers, dealers and employees, will arrive in stores in August with three popular styles and will include the entire women’s line by Spring 2009.
“We successfully launched our women’s line in 2006 with the understanding that we would listen to our customer’s feedback about design and fit,†explains Noah Robertson, Partner and Global Brand Manager of Mountain Khakis. “After two years in the market we felt it was critical for us to show the women that we take their input very seriously. As a result we worked hard revising our styling and fit for the Fall 2008 season.â€
The revised women’s fit will be introduced on the Alpine Pant, the Teton Twill and the Cottonwood Cords, the three most popular Mountain Khakis styles for women. The features of the refined fit include a medium rise, a contoured and fixed waistband, and a straight leg with a relaxed opening. Specification measurements have been slightly adjusted to produce a more flattering fit and feel.
“Our goal is to be a wardrobe staple for all women enjoying and partaking in the mountain lifestyle,†adds Robertson.
Spring 2009 will see the addition of the Lake Lodge Short for women, a brand new style, and the launch of the redesigned Cargo Capri.
The Mountain Khakis product line currently consists of 16 styles, with 5 styles for women and 11 styles for men. The line consists of both pants and shorts, and will soon include a denim jean and kids clothing. The core style in the line, the Original Mountain Pant, remains one of the best-selling pants in the industry.
