Ontario, California (July 24, 2012) – Mountain Mama believes connecting with the outdoors is one of the best ways to stay healthy and optimistic.To recognize companies in the outdoor industry who also support that lifestyle, Mountain Mama created the Outdoor Family Award™. Five categories of the award include Outdoor Parent, Nursing Mama, Outdoor Baby, Outdoor Kid and Outdoor Pet.
“Our inaugural Outdoor Family Award™ was a huge hit at the last OR Show, so we’re thrilled to once again be scouting the show for the most family-friendly gear there is,” says Teresa Delfín, founder/owner of Mountain Mama.“As any parent knows, it’s never too early to start living an active, outdoor lifestyle, and the gear makes getting the whole family out easier and more enjoyable.”
Awards are determined based on needs and preference of Mountain Mama’s employees, product testers and brand ambassadors.Products showcased at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, UT this August will be considered. Winning picks can be new designs or classics – whatever gets the job done. None of the products chosen will be part of a promotional effort.After the show, Mountain Mama will announce the selection of the coolest products they spot in the trade hall.
