In a continuing effort to capitalize on the ever-changing landscape of social media and video, Mountainsmith has partnered up with TrueHero Events and Productions to further their reach in these areas. Mountainsmith will collaborate with the savvy marketing company to increase brand awareness via their new blog, Forged for Life, brand and product videos, Facebook and Twitter. Mountainsmith’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Jay Getzel, made the announcement.
“The partnership with True Hero continues Mountainsmith’s efforts to drive consumer awareness of who we are and the stellar gear we produce,†commented Jay. “The launch of our blog, planned product video production work, event management and upcoming trade show booth updates round out the package that TrueHero will deliver for us in 2012. These services along with our internal work on product development, website overhaul and our continued customer-centric focus will help catapult our brand to the top of the industry.â€
Andy and Wendi Held, owners of TrueHero, have over 30 years combined experience in the outdoor industry, from producing ski movies and hosting events with Tough Guy Productions to buying, selling and managing various other brands in the industry. The company was launched just over a year ago and has already worked with such prestigious companies as Helly Hansen, YakTrax, Wigwam, Sof Sole, New Balance and Bolle.
“We are very excited about our partnership with Mountainsmith,†Andy added. “When I moved to Colorado in 1987, the first piece of outdoor equipment I bought was a Mountainsmith backpack. It went everywhere with me from hiking the Inca Trail in Peru to the outskirts of Denali in Alaska. It is rewarding to now actually be in a position to help them promote what I’ve long enjoyed.â€
Forged in the Rockies, Mountainsmith’s commitment to innovation began in 1979 and continues to the present with a full line of active lifestyle products. The quality and comfort of all Mountainsmith products—technical backpacks, travel storage systems, luggage, camera bags, pet products, and trekking poles as well as the lumbar pack icons—set the standard for the worldwide outdoor marketplace. Mountainsmith manufactures, markets, and distributes an expanding group of products designed to meet the demands of travel on and off the trail, through airports, and anywhere that carrying-comfort is essential. Mountainsmith products are sold worldwide.
