Golden, CO (August 4, 2014) – Mountainsmith—craftsmen of iconic backcountry equipment and recreational outdoor gear—is celebrating the American Alpine Club at the Outdoor Retailer Show for the fourth year in a row. Back by popular demand and Mountainsmith’s commitment to the AAC, the highly anticipated Backpack and Brews Benefit will take place on Thursday, August 7th from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at booth #20015. What does this mean for Outdoor Retail Show goers? A screamin’ deal on limited edition Mountainsmith packs with all proceeds benefitting the American Alpine Club.
AAC-branded Mountainsmith backpacks will be sold in 3 waves at 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30; including 200 Screams (MSRP: $69.95) for $20.00 each and 100 Mayhems (MSRP: $129.95) for $40.00 each.
The action continues with a raffle at 5:30. Attendees can stop by the Mountainsmith booth any time Wednesday or Thursday to drop off their business card and be entered into the raffle. Prizes include a Scream backpack, Mayhem backpack, Mountainsmith tent, Tiki Toss, AAC membership, and other AAC-branded gear.
Visitors will want to make sure to pick up some of Mountainsmith’s signature swag while stopping by the booth, including coozies filled with cold PBR tall boys, trucker hats, and hemp pouches. Proceeds have nearly doubled every year for the past three that Mountainsmith has hosted this favorite OR event. Swing by and help the team make another generous contribution to the AAC this year.
