A 30-plus year heritage in building outdoor products ensures that Mountainsmith knows how to get outdoor adventurers wherever they want to go…from car to trail to summit.
The new line-up consists of the two-person Morrison 2 and the four-person Genessee 4 tents. Three down sleeping bags include the El Diente 5°, Sunlight 20° and Windom 35°. The Monarch 0°, Kenosha 20°, and Poncha 35°, synthetic sleeping bag models complete the circle. The two tents and six sleeping bags excel in their performance with specifications and features unexpected in this price category.
All six sleeping bags in the line are a relaxed mummy shape with right-hand, calf-length, two-way locking YKK® zippers with anti-snag reinforcement. Both 5- and 20-degree models feature a form-fitting adjustable hood and neck baffle collar. The differential cut provides optimal heat retention, the full length draft tube protects against heat escape along the zipper and the contoured footbox ensures sleeping comfort. External hang loops are convenient for drying or pad lashing and cotton sacks are provided for storage. The relaxed shape of the six bags is a “one size fits most†accommodating up to 6′ 4†height and a shoulder girth up to 65â€. Dimensions of all six are 82†by 32.5â€.

Both three season polyester tents are designed with a two door/two vestibule layout and tent fly ventilation windows for maximum air flow. Because the tents are free-standing and have a bathtub-type construction floor, set-up is quick and intuitive. As always with Mountainsmith products, there is an abundance of features. The Interior design consists of large mesh windows, a detachable ceiling loft pocket, and mesh storage pockets. Set-up is facilitated with guyout attachment points, reflective guylines, color-coded buckle attachments for ten and fly, grommet pole attachments and reinforced aluminum V-stakes. Clip-pole attachments are lightweight and provide comfortable breathability. Instructions for set-up are conveniently printed on the stuff sacks.
One of the best parts? Mountainsmith designers easily set up the tents in 90 seconds or less.
