Golden, CO (January 22nd, 2015) — On the second day of ORWM15, Mountainsmith will partner with Setton Farms to raise money for the Continental Divide Trail Coalition (CDTC). From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday January 22nd, attendees can stop by the Mountainsmith booth #8027 to celebrate while snacking on Setton Farms Pistachio Chewy Bites, and sipping ice-cold PBRs to raise awareness and cold hard cash for the CDTC. For extra credit doing your best impersonation of “The Real Hiking Viking” or showing up with a beard will get you a free drink; otherwise a $1 suggested donation gets you a brew.
Mountainsmith will also sell 100 of their new wearable Hemp Cooler Tubes at a show discount in three 30-minute phases, starting at 4:30, 5:00 and 5:30. These coolers have been hotly anticipated, and we expect to sell through them quickly, rapidly raising funds for the CDTC. Celebrity hikers The Real Hiking Viking, Liz “Snorkel” Thomas, and Cam Swami will be on hand to greet guests and share in the libations.
“Mountainsmith and Setton Farms are excited to raise funds for the Continental Divide Trail Coalition, an organization dedicated to protecting one of the most important and unique trail systems in the world, ” states Mountainsmith President Jay Getzel.
Setton Farms COO Mia Cohen adds, “On behalf of Setton Farms, we are thrilled to team up with Mountainsmith and help support the CDTC and their efforts to foster a strong trail community.”
