Mountainsmith Welcomes Adventurer Mike Libecki to Camera Bag Ambassador Team

Golden, CO (December 16, 2014) – Mountainsmith, craftsmen of iconic backcountry equipment and recreational outdoor gear, is excited to announce the addition of world explorer, speaker, climber, wilderness athlete, photographer, videographer, and author Mike Libecki to their ambassador team.

“We are stoked to add Mike to our growing ambassador family,” said Mountainsmith Marketing Manager Jeremy Dodge. “His extensive traveling gives him ample opportunity to put our camera bags and K9 gear through the wringer and really test their limits.”

Along with traveling and exploring the globe, Libecki often gives multimedia presentations about his adventures. His work has been published in National Geographic, Outside, Men’s Journal and Climbing. Libecki currently lives with his daughter and two German Shpherds (who will also be called on to test Mountainsmith dog products) in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah.

“I am super fired up about the Mountainsmith line of camera bags,” said Libecki. “Specifically the Andy Mann signature series photo packs. The equipment I use needs to take a beating and be the best. These camera bags and Andy Mann’s designs are the best for both function and durability.”

Libecki is currently sponsored by Mountain Hardwear, Clif Bar, Black Diamond, Goal Zero, Sterling Rope, Smith, Wigwam, MSR, Thermarest, SealLine, Kokatat, to name a few. Libecki has gone on over fifty expeditions around the world including Afghanistan, Antarctica, Greenland, China, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Russia, Yemen, Philippines, Africa.
