The tent was recognized for its thoughtful design, light weight and four-season durability.

Only six products were chosen for the Product of the Year Award, based on editors’ field testing and feedback from the magazine’s outdoor education programs. Specific categories are not used as criteria for the winners; they are simply chosen as the best of all the outdoor equipment and apparel tested through the year.
