MSR has won an ISPO Gold Award 2014 for its MSR® Revo™ Explore snowshoes at the ISPO Trade Fair in Munich, Germany. The Revo Explore snowshoes won the ISPO Gold Award in the Snowshoes category, for their excellent functionality and beautiful design.
In the new Revo Explore, MSR melds the superior grip of metal perimeter traction with the unrivaled durability, torsional flex and cold-temperature performance of its proven plastic decks. Combined, this engineering delivers exceptional grip and a more natural foot position on traverses, climbs and descents.
“The MSR Snowshoe convinced the jury members because of its hybrid construction,” said Klaus Lehner of the ISPO Jury. “This combination offers a dual advantage of perfect grip on hard snow, and low weight of the snowshoe.
Engineered for those who prioritize all-day comfort, but still wish to venture off trail, the Revo Explore snowshoes feature MSR’s new HyperLink™ Binding—MSR’s fastest, easiest and most comfortable binding to date. The binding’s glove-friendly two-strap ratchet system is intuitive and fast, and can easily be adjusted in the field, on the go. Paired with an easy-entry cradle for exceptionalall-day comfort and security, the Revo Explore is a perfect option for serious snowshoe enthusiasts and first-timers alike.
The American-made Revo™ Explore snowshoes will be available for the Fall/Winter 2014-15 season in 22- and 25-inch sizes to accommodate height and weight.
