MSR® Unveils All-New Revo™ Series Snowshoes

MSR (Mountain Safety Research®), the Seattle-based manufacturer of high-performance outdoor equipment, has gripped the snowshoe market for more than a decade with innovative designs that provide the best in traction, flotation, and versatility.

In Fall/Winter 2014, MSR debuts its all-new Revo™ Series snowshoes that, for the first time, combine the superior grip of metal perimeter traction with the unrivaled durability, torsional flex and cold-temperature performance of its proven plastic decks.

The comfort-driven Revo Explore snowshoes provide durability and ease of use, and are built for all-day explorations on a variety of snow conditions and terrain. The design features a proprietary ExoTract™ Deck with surefooted steel traction walls that meld the power of perimeter traction with a flexible deck. Combined, this engineering delivers exceptional grip and a more natural foot position on traverses, climbs and descents.

The Revo Explore is further enhanced with an all-new HyperLink™ Binding that pairs comfort and security with a familiar, glove-friendly ratchet system and an easy-entry cradle. The two-strap design eliminates pressure points and can easily be adjusted on the go with minimal effort.

The American-made Revo™ Series includes three models: the Revo Ascent, Revo Explore, and Revo Trail. All MSR Lightning™ and Revo Series snowshoes are available in 22- and 25-inch sizes to accommodate height and weight.

The new MSR Revo snowshoes debut this month at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City and are available for testing at the All Mountain Demo on January 21 at Solitude Mountain Resort. They will be available at retail stores in August 2014.
