MYSTERY RANCH Hires New Rep Force for California, South West and Hawaii

MYSTERY RANCH, an industry-leading pack company built on a heritage of function, comfort, quality and durability, announced today that it has retained a new sales agency, Caraway & Co based in Bishop, CA, to represent its Mountain division in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. The Mountain division of backpacks, daypacks and everyday carry bags debuted in Spring 16 in approximately 50 retail stores across the US and Canada. The 40-year heritage behind the packs and a Backpacker’s Editors’ Choice award contributed to a successful first year with the new collection moving quickly off retail shelves.
“We hired five agencies to cover strategic territories,” says Alex Kutches, vice president of Sales and Marketing. “With several new styles for Spring 17, and we need more feet on the ground,” Kutches continues.
“Caraway’s breadth across the Southwestern territory and their dedicated background in the outdoor and lifestyle market bring a versatile addition to our sales team, ” adds Ben Nobel, sales manager of the MYSTERY RANCH Mountain Division. “Their close relationships with dealers across a diverse region of outdoor, ocean, and urban demographics, fit soundly with our mission.”
Dana Caraway heads up the agency with four sub reps, Terry Imus, Matt Gibley, Traci Cosmer, and Melissa Richter. All are avid outdoors people who spend their free time backpacking and climbing. “MYSTERY RANCH is honored to have such a great addition to our current sales team,” adds Kutches.
