Nalgene will end Peregrine's distribution agreement on March 5, 2008

Peregrine Outfitters has been notified by Thermo Fisher Scientific, manufacturers of Nalgene® Outdoor Products that their distribution agreement will end March 5, 2008.

Peregrine & Nalgene have worked out a strategy that will enable Peregrine to continue to stock, promote and deliver Nalgene products throughout the transition period.

Bob Olsen, President of Peregrine Outfitters said, “We’re sorry that they have chosen to take this step. Our decision to add a competing brand conflicted with their plan for the Nalgene® brand. They have been an important trading partner for 18 years, they build great products and we wish them well.”

Tag Carpenter, Peregrine’s Sales Manager, said, “Peregrine’s plan is to have another great year with Nalgene Products & we will maintain the high level of service & order fulfillment our mutual customers expect.”

Bill Whipple, Peregrine’s product manager, said, “Water bottles and containers have been an integral part of our program for many years and we expect that will continue in the future.”

Peregrine Outfitters distributes over 7,000 high quality outdoor accessories and books to outdoor retailers nationwide from its warehouses in Williston, Vermont and Ogden Utah. Peregrine also provides warehousing and order fulfillment services to other companies through its other division; Peregrine Distribution Services. The company has been headquartered in Williston, Vermont since 1988.
