The 2018 collection is designed to enhance all of life’s outdoor adventures with stylish, high performance frames and lenses.
“We are excited to roll out not only new sunglass styles, but new and brighter colors for 2018,” said John Sanchez, General Manager at Native Eyewear. “The latest sunglasses in our product line were inspired by the outdoors and continue to elevate Native’s philosophy of pairing fashionable styles with top-of-the-line performance. Like all Native’s, the Wells and Acadia feature the latest in lens technology and color enhancement that complement the active lifestyle.”
New 2018 Styles Available Include:
Wells: Understanding the need to be spontaneous is not to be overlooked. With this in mind, the Wells is designed with a square-shaped lens, streamlined temples, and a face-hugging fit that won’t let go, even during the most unplanned of situations. Constructed of plant-based resin and finished with precision-cut metallic foil logo detailing, this frame only leaves to the imagination what adventure to embark on next.
Acadia: Inspired by the beauty and wonder of the oldest and most biodiverse National Park east of the Mississippi, the Acadia is the epitome of purposeful elegance. This piece features rounded lens, trilaminate frame construction, metallic foil logo detail, and fun color combinations. With unparalleled strength and style, the Acadia was fashioned for all of life’s unmissable moments.
Violet Reflex Lens: New for 2018, the Violet Reflex lens will now be offered in Native’s best-selling performance and active lifestyle frames, including the Acadia, Ashdown, Distiller, Hardtop Ultra XP and Sightcaster. and available for purchase at all Native retailers and online. The violet lens is offered in either a matte black or gloss black frame and is now available for purchase in stores or online ranging from $119 to $149 MSRP.
This new Violet Reflex technology sets itself apart from Native’s other lenses by adding unrivaled color and contrast enhancement through color-sorting filtration. The resulting high definition of the violet lens is reinforced by Native’s standard lens features, including polarization, UV and infrared protection, decentered optics, impact-resistant, oil and water repellant coatings, and a vacuum-bonded hard coating to ensure lasting integrity. While the violet lens will perform in a number of varying light conditions, it is best suited for moderate to bright sunlight.
New Desert Tan Colorway
Native’s 2018 sunglass line brings brighter, distinguished colorways and new frame finishes to compliment the brand’s existing styles. The new Desert Tan frame finish is designed with a specially formulated color composition that blends into the terrain and matches most camo patterns. Inspired by industry leading ceramic barrel coatings, Desert Tan effectively absorbs glare while asserting a confident appearance in the field or on the trail. The new Desert Tan colorway is available in the Ashdown, Sightcaster styles.
Lightweight Earth-Friendly Frames That You Can Take from Trail to Street
Native’s advanced frame technology provides a lightweight, durable, and comfortable solution that can withstand harsh conditions, including high-impact collisions and temperature extremes. Native frames feature several dynamic frame constructions including multi injection Trilaminate, and Rynotough using a castor-based resin that makes them more earth-friendly and stronger than petroleum-based alternatives. Additionally, the patented grip Cushinol™ keeps sunglasses in place during athletic activity and allows you to have stylish sunglasses that are high performance.
Native Eyewear believes that quality gear shouldn’t come at the cost of our outdoor playground. In addition to bio-based frame resin, Native’s packaging has been thoughtfully created. The packing materials are made from materials like recycled shopping bags, plastic bottles, soy-based inks, and recycled cardboard.
Premier Lifetime Warranty
Accidents are bound to happen, and that’s why Native Eyewear offers a premier lifetime warranty. Whatever the reason (excluding loss or theft), replacements are guaranteed for a processing fee.
