NBS adds Rand Whitney to head new outdoor division

Rand Whitney has joined the NBS Team as Vice President, Outdoor Division. Rand's experience in the outdoor Industry is extensive, having formerly served as Vice President for High Sierra Sport Co., The Sales & Marketing Director for LaFuma, USA, and as Vice President with Lowe Alpine USA.

Rand Whitney has joined the NBS Team as Vice President, Outdoor Division. Rand’s experience in the outdoor Industry is extensive, having formerly served as Vice President for High Sierra Sport Co., The Sales & Marketing Director for LaFuma, USA, and as Vice President with Lowe Alpine USA. In this new position at NBS, Rand is charged with spearheading the expansion of NBS’ Outdoor Categories. Rand will oversee the Winter Sports, Camping, Watersports, Paddle Sports, Action Sports, Workwear, Outdoor Footwear & Apparel Categories.

Bryan Davis has also been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President. In this role, Bryan will oversee the further development of the Hunting & Shooting Sports, Fishing, Archery, Hunting Clothing & Footwear, Paintball, and Athletic & Team Sports categories. Bryan joined the NBS Team in 1999, and has successfully led the NBS merchandising team through significant growth and expansion. “We are appreciative of Bryan’s hard work and dedication at NBS over the last 11 years, and look forward to developing new opportunities in the near future. We are pleased to offer him this well deserved promotion.”
