[Dover, NH] – The New Hampshire Union Leader has named NEMO Equipment’s Founder/CEO, Cam Brensinger, to its 40 Under Forty for 2016. Celebrating its 15th year, the 40 Under Forty panel, comprised mostly of businesspeople from throughout New Hampshire, chose 23 men and 17 women for the class of 2016 that, according to the Union Leader, have made professional and personal contributions towards making New Hampshire a better place.
According to the Union Leader’s website, “Innovation is at the top of Cam Brensinger’s list of priorities, as his company, NEMO Equipment, Inc., looks to market and design the highest quality products for outdoor adventure… Noting his company is on solid ground, he said one of his company’s biggest challenges reflects one that may impact the entire state, which is how to attract the next generation of creative, well-educated, lifestyle-oriented employees.”
“…we need to prioritize strong public schools, local parks with amenities for jogging and biking, beautify our urban centers, and invest in civic spaces and cultural attractions,” said Brensinger.
The 40 Under Forty class of 2016 come from varied professions—attorneys, doctors, high school and college professionals, business founders and executives, town employees, a church pastor and more. Besides being younger than age 40, nominees must have made professional and personal contributions towards making New Hampshire a better place.
“NEMO has gotten a good deal of recognition over the years, but most often within our industry. Having grown up in Manchester, winning an award from the Union Leader feels different—it really hits home and connects me back to my childhood. It makes me realize how many years have already passed, the surprising directions life can take you, and how lucky I’ve been so far. It’s really an honor and one I hope to continue to earn,” said Brensinger.
The 40 Under Forty program is sponsored by the New Hampshire Union Leader in cooperation with the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire. A March 16th reception will be held for the honorees at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH.
In 2016, NEMO continues to design award-winning products that are built to last, comfortable and fun to use. The focus is always on creating the best experience outdoors possible.
