NEMO’s Losi 3Pâ„¢ is the recipient of the prestigious 2009 Gear of the Year award from Outside Magazine. It’s been a good year for Losi 3Pâ„¢ â€” this award follows its recent recognition as Best All-Around 3 Person Tent from Backpacker Magazine in their 2009 Gear Guide.

Outside’s Gear of the Year, announced in its biannual Buyer’s Guide, is one of the industry’s most prestigious and coveted honors. The Buyer’s Guide highlights the very best in adventure gear, from sports equipment, tools, and gadgets to footwear, outerwear, and sunglasses. After six months of field-testing thousands of products, the Outside staff has chosen 349 products that it deems the best of the best. Cumulatively, testers spent several months in the backcountry testing this year’s top sleeping bags, tents, shells, trail shoes, and packs in more than a dozen states. Over 50 tents were considered for testing in this year’s Buyer’s Guide.
