Portsmouth, NH (January 19th, 2015) – Dare 2b, one of the U.K.’s hottest young snow and ski brands, expands its U.S offering in 2015 with a new and innovative shell collection. Debuting a line of technical stretch jackets with advanced performance features for full freedom of movement and versatility, Dare 2b has you covered no matter the alpine activity of the day.
The new Shells highlight one of Dare 2b’s newest technologies for the ’15-’16 winter season, AEP Kinematics for snow sports. This innovative technology analyzes the body’s points of motion during athletic performance to refine the garment’s fit for each specific sport. The new collection combines ergonomics with design features such as 360-degree stretch and strategic articulation, allowing for a full, unrestricted range of movement.
Men’s Ardor Jacket
The Ardor Jacket offers full freedom of movement and versatility to make bluebird powder days even better. Incorporating Dare 2b’s AEP Kinematics technology, the Ardor is designed to provide the wearer fully unrestrained movement, and at less than 905g, this shell won’t weigh you down. Features include a water repellent finish, taped seams, detachable hood and snow skirt, articulated sleeves, and underarm ventilation zips. Available in black, skydiver blue, and lime zest in sizes S-XXL. MSRP $160.
Men’s Occlude Jacket
The must-have jacket for any outdoor enthusiast, the Occlude is ready to take on the gnarliest day. Features include a waterproof and breathable 4-way stretch fabric and water repellent finish, articulated sleeves, multiple interior and exterior pockets, detachable hood, part mesh/part taffeta lining, a weight of less than 755g, and more. Available in skydiver blue/airforce, black, fiery red, lime zest/key lime and trek green/highland green in sizes S-XXXL. MSRP $120.
Women’s Stature Jacket
The Stature Jacket looks as good as it feels. A technical active fit with clean lines and a feminine silhouette, the Stature also features Dare 2b’s AEP Kinematics, which allows for complete freedom of motion and agility. Articulated sleeves, underarm ventilation zips, water repellent finish, taped seams, and more. At a weight of less than 615g, you get the performance, without the bulk. Available in fairway green and black in sizes 4-16. MSRP $160.
Women’s Peltry Jacket
Designed to handle an array of mountain fun, the Peltry will keep you protected while still offering a stylish fit. Features include a waterproof and breathable 4-way stretch fabric and water repellent finish, taped seams, adjustable shock cord hem system, detachable hood, articulated sleeves, a part mesh/part polyester taffeta lining, and more. Available in performance purple, black, fairway green, aqua/enamel, and surfspray blue in sizes 4-16. MSRP $120.
