SAN FRANSICO, March 17, 2009 – Life Fitness has once again answered the needs of the marketplace by introducing the Optima Series, a beautifully designed comprehensive strength-training solution that offers single and multi-exercise machines, as well as benches and racks. The line adds 20 pieces to the company’s extensive breadth of product. Life Fitness is debuting the first 13 pieces in the Optima Series line at the 2009 IHRSA trade show with seven more strength-training machines that will be introduced later this year.
Ideal for smaller facilities, such as hotels, corporate and multi-housing facilities, the Optima Series boasts high-functioning, space-saving style with dependable durability for which Life Fitness products are known. Inspired by the latest styles in interior design, the machines feature low profile, fully shrouded towers that create a consistent look across a facility.
“Through research we found that facilities were looking for a strength solution that was not only easy-to-use and space efficient, but was also durable,” said John Stransky, president of Life Fitness. “The Optima Series integrates style and reliability into a comprehensive range of strength equipment that can be configured to meet any space requirements.”
Designed with simplicity in mind, easy-to-use adjustments and movements enable exercisers to intuitively use the machines, allowing them to meet their goals through self-guided workouts. Also perfect for those new to exercise, every piece in the Optima line features pictorial placards with color coordinated adjustments for easy set-up. The machines’ weight-stacks also provide drop down increments for fine-tuning weight adjustments.
The line features commercial grade flat oval tubing ensuring structural integrity and style with a design that is inviting. Each piece in the line is biomechanically-sound and has been extensively tested to ensure each machine reaches global standards.
The equipment is available in a platinum frame with a clear coat, high gloss paint finish that adds an extra layer of durability and protects products from scratches and corrosion. All of the machines feature flat, contoured pads and are offered in black upholstery.
